Major Achievements of last project 2021 - 2024


  • 88% of the tribal communities have adopted sustainable Agriculture practices using organic compost in Paddy, Ragi, Vegetable cultivation, fruit-bearing plantation activities and practice of nutritious food consumption especially for pregnant, lactating month, adolescents and children.
  • Resource mobilization by 79% by tribal families from Odisha Livelihood Mission, Mission Jeevika, Mukhyamatri Janajati Jeevika Mission by ITDA and other government departments through convergence.
  • 56% of households have promoted backyard nutri gardens and consuming organic vegetables, which increased by 18%.
  • Due to regular care & management of their livestock, the mortality is being reduced by 98% and the income sources from on-farm and off-farm have been increased by 97%.
  • The annual income of PwD and Vulnerable households has been increased by 36%
  • 82% of Women has been participating in all development activities, Cooperative management and established linkages with Odisha Livelihood Mission, Mission Jeevika and other Government departments and mobilizing resources for their income generation. 87% women are the shareholders of the Mahandragiri cooperative accessing credit support and also business development techniques and 74% of women members are accessing the regular services from the cooperative.
  • Financial inclusion is visible as the community members including women SHGs are mobilizing credit support from Banks, OLM (Odisha Livelihood Mission) and also mobilizing resources like Seeds, fertilizer, motor pumps, different fruit-bearing saplings and Chicks from Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) under Odisha Jeevika Missi. 
  • Annual turnover of Mahendragiri Women Cooperative has increased by 63%.
